Closing Time

This, my friends, is the ultimate nightmare for anyone who works in any customer service oriented job. There are always customers who see your business hours as a mere suggestion and will push the limits of your friendly service to it breaking point.

Oh, and did I mention this is the 50th Spooky Doofus strip? It sure is. Yeah, it may not seem like a big deal. Heck, in comic strip terms this is akin to the crusty remnants of the umbilical cord falling off a newborn baby. Like any good parent, though, I’m proud to see my weird little comic strip reach this tiny milestone. Big thanks to all of you who’ve been reading and spreading the Spooky Word!

Speaking of spreading the word, why not become a fan of Spooky Doofus on Facebook? And if you’ve done that, how about becoming a fan of my other art, too? Check out my new fan page dedicated to my other non-Spooky Doofus art:

I worked six years in retail, three of which were exclusively on the closing shift. EVERY night, we had people in the store after close, and if we didn’t lock the doors quick enough, more would walk in.

    Congrats on 50 strips!

Don’t worry Landon, that happened to me once…only once.
