There you have it, folks, 151 comics. As of today, Spooky Doofus is officially on hiatus. It’s time for me to take a break. My days have been jam packed with a two young daughters, a full time job, Spooky Doofus twice a week, SuperFogeys twice a week, and three different versions of Angry Birds on my phone. Something has to give! I need to take a break to regroup creatively in order to do justice to Spooky Doofus. The last thing I want is to pass off some poorly drawn rush job onto you fine folks.
I am sincerely grateful for all of you who have been loyally following Spooky Doofus for the past 151 strips. Be sure to keep following my work on SuperFogeys every Monday and Wednesday, and follow me on Twitter for my occasional lunch time sketches and updates on when you can expect to see Spooky Doofus “season 2″. Also, in the near future, I’ll be putting together a sketch blog where I’ll be posting all kinds of sketches and drawings. Of course, this site will still be around should you want to revisit Renfield Square. And you never know when I’ll post a blog entry about something important.

aww, I will miss Landon, Ed and the crew.. but I was half expecting this as I know Superfogeys (and the kiddies) must take up a ton of time. If you were going to be as crazy as to do both SF and SD, I would have to get you on that Intervention TV show for Speed or sumthin’.
