Ma Cobb
Ma Cobb started out basically as a prop. I needed an old lady type character for a gag in strip #5 so I designed this little old ghoulish lady. After drawing her, I really started to feel for the old girl, and couldn’t just leave her to one strip. She doesn’t play a major role in Spooky Doofus, but, she’s here because she’s the first background character I actually gave a name to. Truth be told, she only really got her name because I couldn’t resist a good (or bad depending on your tastes) pun.
