Just when Landon thought he was safe… it’s another one of those “DUM DUM DUUUUUUUM” moments.

This, my friends, is the ultimate nightmare for anyone who works in any customer service oriented job. There are always customers who see your business hours as a mere suggestion and will push the limits of your friendly service to it breaking point.

Oh, and did I mention this is the 50th Spooky Doofus strip? It sure is. Yeah, it may not seem like a big deal. Heck, in comic strip terms this is akin to the crusty remnants of the umbilical cord falling off a newborn baby. Like any good parent, though, I’m proud to see my weird little comic strip reach this tiny milestone. Big thanks to all of you who’ve been reading and spreading the Spooky Word!

Don’t you just hate it when you’re on the phone and someone is standing there staring at you waiting for the phone call to end, looking like they’ve something really important to ask, only to find out it’s something incredibly stupid? Yeah, me too.

Oh, and let it be known that Gummy Bacon is real, and it’s out there. Be afraid.

This ghoulish sweet old lady may or may not become a recuring character. I’m happy with the character design and I’ve even given her a name, but as of this writting, I haven’t come up with another reasone for her to return. Who knows, maybe someday we’ll see more of good ol’ Ma Cobb.
